Training Courses and Programs

The products and services we provide at MTG can be split up into 8 separate categories. Below you’ll find a summary of each service.

1. Nationally Recognised Training - Programs
These Accredited courses are designed to be the standard entry-level qualification for the call centre, retail, and training industry. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in these industries, and to those who would like formal recognition for the skills they have acquired through the relative industry.

MTG offer the following Accredited courses:

2. Short Course Programs
The short course program is best suited to individuals with prior qualifications or experience and for individuals wanting to gain knowledge without committing to a long course.

The short courses are designed to build upon the individual’s current knowledge and experience, usually gained through their current employment.

MTG will deliver Nationally Accredited Training Programs as short day / evening and weekend courses for individuals wishing to formalise or refresh their current knowledge. A competent completion of any short course program with MTG will be certified as part completion of the above Nationally Accredited Training Programs.

There are currently 97 different courses available, but not limited in the following areas:

3. Customized Training Packages
Training packages can be customised specifically to suit corporate client needs. However, customisations will need to comply with the training package customisation rules.

Once the companies needs have been identified, MTG will customize a short course that will be tailored to be delivered from one-day duration to the length of time required, depending on the depth of knowledge that is required to satisfy the specific needs of the client.

All training material developed and used by MTG supports the Nationally Endorsed Training Program.

4. Team Building & Adventure Outdoors Training
MTG offer ‘Corporate Adventure Outdoors Training’, which is a hands on training program usually held over a full day or more. The main focus of the Adventure Training is to build a teamwork culture among colleagues or departments within the organization. The adventure can be designed to fit in with company requirements that are fully customised to suit all training & development needs.

MTG professional consultants and trainers involved in this exercise will aim to bring an organization together as a team by outlining the dynamics of individuals in the group and displaying how each individual has a vital role as a team member. Once your organization has put its staff through an MTG corporate outdoor adventure, they will be equipped to combat any obstacles thrown at them in the corporate environment.

After completing the group activity, trainers present team dynamic theories enabling individuals to reflect and learn from the team experience. The ‘Communicate in the Workplace’ module is suggested, which will be covered during this process enabling individuals to obtain recognition of module completion.

5. Business Consulting
MTG offers business-consulting services through a network of experienced professionals. All MTG consultants are specialists in their field and have a minimum of 5 years consulting experience. The range of consulting services includes, but are not limited by the following:

- Occupational Health and Safety ;
- Management & Leadership;
- Back End & Front End Operations;
- Communication & Change;
- Business Solutions.

6. Coaching & Personal Development
The MTG network of consultants include accredited Counsellors, Psychologists and human behaviour specialists.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioners are also part of the network of consultants providing human behaviour assessment. MTG has designed a product called Personality Performance Assessment (PPA). This assessment can assist to better understand an individual, through a short questionnaire. PPA is a simple tool designed to help Managers communicate with their team members by having a clear understanding of how they think. This service is ideal for many different types of business people. PPA has applications for:

- Business Managers wanting to learn about employees.
- Business Managers wanting to learn about other managers.
- Recruiters wanting to learn about a job candidate. (Could save you a lot of money and frustration by avoiding the wrong recruit.)
- Business Owners wanting to learn about their business partners. (Or potential business partners.)
- Project team leaders wishing to improve communication amongst team members.

This tool is not restricted for use in a business sense, but can also be used for personal change. As a PPA has the unique ability to identify the characteristics of a person, an NLP Practitioner can then use this information to assist toward personal change.

7. Mystery Shopping Program
MTG provides a Mystery Shopping Program, where accredited assessors pose as "mystery shoppers". The assessor will take on the role as a customer and conduct a comprehensive analytical report to determine the service level of the business/staff member in accordance to company requirements.

Once our MTG Assessor has completed the analytical assessment of the business/organisation, a report is compiled and submitted to the client. The assessment is a vital tool for identifying any weaknesses in the business operations.

8. Student Tutoring (targeting Secondary school students)
MTG provide one on one tutoring in the following subjects:

- Mathematics
- English
- Science
- Business
- Humanities
- Information Technology
- Personal Development

MTG tutors understand that school & college students have a tough job achieving academically while dealing with their life challenges. Our experienced tutors are empathetic to the learning needs of students.

Depending on the student and parents’ needs, an appropriate tutor will be assigned.
